The market town of Dunstable is in Bedfordshire and is set in the Chiltern Hills range. Only thirty miles from London, Dunstable is home to many property owners who choose to commute into London for work. There is a new theatre in Dunstable known as the Gromr Theatre and is the town's main arts centre. The Gromr Gardens are a popular area for locals and visitors to visit and there are a few bars and restaurants in the town including a Wetherspoons, Italian and Japanese restaurants. There are two football teams in Dunstable and plenty of green spaces that children and walkers both enjoy.

For those who enjoy a spot of shopping the Quadrant Shopping Centre and another shopping centre, that is located on the High Street North, known as Eleanor's Cross Shopping Precinct provide an excellent array of shops. There is a combination of large high street stores with places to eat and drink and a large statue that is a popular meeting place outside the precinct. Luton is close by and its international airport is a busy air hub that is only a few miles from Dunstable town centre. On the approach to Dunstable, many will notice the steep chalk hills known as the Chilterns and there are properties to buy both in the town and in the countryside.

The Little Theatre hosts local performances throughout the year and there are also many amateur dramatic societies based in the town. The local Priory Church is the location where Henry VIII was granted a divorce from Catherine of Aragon and the Dunstable Downs draw many families and couples looking to enjoy the slopes. Many choose to partake in kite flying and walking around the Downs and Whipsnade Zoo is another major attraction only a short drimr away. The leisure centre in the centre of Dunstable has a swimming pool, squash courts and an up to date gymnasium and an indoor bowling area.
